The different lock-down regulations across India, domestic and international travel restrictions imposed by state and centre level Governments, and Bombay Exhibition Centre (Venue for this trade fair) currently being used a temporary quarantine facility make it challenging to organise, exhibit and visit the ANUTEC-International FoodTec India and co-located trade fairs on the scheduled dates 23.-25.09.2020 respectively 26.-28.11.2020.

Exhibitors, visitors and partners from the food industry have reiterated their concerns for the health, travel and safety of their employees for coming together on such large-scale platforms. Given these concerns, the management team at Koelnmesse India has reassessed the current situation and set the new date in consultation with the venue and the industry i.e. 3-5 February 2021.

Over 1,000 exhibitors, including around 200 from overseas countries, are expected to attend the ANUTEC - International FoodTec India and co-located trade fairs, India’s leading innovation and business platform for the food industry that is held every two years and Annapoorna - ANUFOOD India every year in Mumbai.

GENERAL

Why have you decided to reschedule the trade fairs?

In view of the increasing spread and keeping up with the current situation developing around COVID–19 that’s causing all organisers to postpone/cancel their exhibitions in India, Koelnmesse India has decided to postpone ANUTEC - International FoodTec India co-located with PackEx India, Food Logistics India, Annapoorna - ANUFOOD India and ANUTEC - Ingredients India.

Very precautionary travel restrictions have been? announced by the Union Health Ministry, Government of India which have tightened the entry conditions across all states, making it impossible for overseas exhibitors and trade visitors to participate/attend the fairs for business.

The well-being of all visitors, exhibitors, buyers and all our stakeholders is our topmost priority. In light of the COVID-19 outbreak and after careful consideration, we have made this decision to reschedule the trade fairs to February.

When is the new date?

ANUTEC - International FoodTec India co-located with PackEx India, Food Logistics India, Annapoorna - ANUFOOD India and ANUTEC - Ingredients India will now be held from 3-5 February 2021.

How do I get latest updates on the COVID-19 situation in India?

The Indian Government is taking this very seriously and has an active surveillance and screening system for disease control, thanks to its experience in dealing with medical conditions such as SARS, MERS, avian flu and others. Are we expecting any changes to the existing contractual agreement?

The signed agreement will remain in effect, as we are simply rescheduling the event. If the exhibitor does not indicate that they are no longer interested in participating in the event, based on the new date, all the arrangements will remain in place. Revised dates/stand confirmation will be sent in due course.

I have made travel arrangement prior to the event. Will I get reimbursed for my travel/accommodation or any other expenses incurred since ANUTEC - International FoodTec India co-located with PackEx India, Food Logistics India, Annapoorna - ANUFOOD India and ANUTEC - Ingredients India is postponed?

We advise you to contact your travel or booking agent and hotel provider immediately for information and advice corresponding to their specific cancellation and amendment policies. As travel and accommodation are not booked through the organisers nor event, we are unable to facilitate any refund for your accommodation. For peace of mind, we recommend you take out travel insurance if you have not already done so.
